In January 2010, while preparing for a formal wine dinner at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, I experienced severe abdominal pain. I ended up in the ER instead of at the wine dinner. I was diagnosed with carcinoid cancer. There were no previous symptoms; I thought I was very healthy. My restless nature needed something to do, so I created a legacy of my work. I started developing my first book while recuperating in the hospital.
This life-altering moment sparked the creation of my first book, and I followed it with three more books over three years, forming a legacy intended to benefit future generations.
I wrote this series in a timeless format, ensuring the content remains relevant. As times change, adapt and expand them—they form your professional development foundation. These books preserve the knowledge, wisdom, and experiences that will benefit readers for years.

Mindfulness & Health Watch: Your 2023 Weekly Journal

In 2020, at a Global Women’s Peace Network luncheon, I was introduced to my first gratitude journal, donated by Melanie Spears. I was hooked and shared my experience in my blog. From that moment on, I incorporated gratitude journaling into my daily routine.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, I delved deeper into the seven elements of Mindfulness: Intention, Gratitude, Affirmation, Visualization, Kindness, Wisdom, and Spirituality. Unable to find a comprehensive journal resource, I wrote “Mindfulness and Health Watch: Your 2023 Weekly Journal” to keep you and me healthy in mind, spirit, and body.
Skills are more effective when
you have the right mindset and a healthy body.

Continuing the Journaling Tradition
Mindfulness and Health Watch:
Your Weekly “Inspire Me” Journal
Feedback on the first journal edition indicated a need for more mindfulness content. Thus, I invited seven experts to share their insights, creating “Mindfulness and Health Watch: Your Weekly ‘Inspire You’ Journal.” This flexible journal can be started anytime and continued into the following year. It includes six calendars (2024 to 2029).
Why add a Spanish edition? I spoke at the Transformational Writer’s Conference in Puerto Rico in December 2023. Their reception was held at Bookmark, a local bookstore. When I asked the owner to see their collection of gratitude journals, he showed me a single book with the word “Gratitude” on the spine. I gave him a copy of my 2023 edition and mentioned I was working on a 2024-2029 edition and that there was a mindfulness trend that he might want to capture. He said he would carry it if I published a Spanish version. So I did!
This edition is now available in both English and Spanish at all bookstores.
